Dr. Peter Clement is a professor of Business at the State University of New York-Delhi. As a professor at Delhi, he has developed two new courses, Business Ethics and Consumer Behavior and taught principles of management, strategic management, risk management, small business management, organizational behavior, business ethics and consumer behavior. He has also taught macroeconomics, microeconomics, family economics and human resource management in New Mexico, Wisconsin, St. Lucia and the Netherlands. Dr. Clement has had over 20 years teaching experience at the college and university levels.
His current research interests focus on critical consumer issues in developing countries, cross-culture consumer behavior, organizational behavior and culture, change management, leadership issues in management, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility, and macroeconomics. Dr. Clement has attended and chaired conferences in North America and Africa, and published research papers in leading journals on topics such as race, sources of information, and savings related market activities, critical consumer issues in development countries and cross-culture consumer behavior. He is a reviewer for three leading journals and two book companies.

poprno retroDr. Clement is a critical analyst of consumer issues and behavior who integrates consumer behavior theories to understand consumers’ complex decision-making processes, such as group-decision making and search decision processes. He is presently working on his first book entitled “Critical Consumer Issues in Developing Countries: Implications for Social and Economic Development”.
In addition to his teaching and research, Professor Clement is presently serving on ten university committees and is advising four university organizations. Peter Clement is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He holds two BSc degrees, one MBA degree, one MSc degree and a Ph.D. degree.
